Take Courage
This is my 6th photoblog post. 6 always was a special number for me, so this is a special picture as well. I took it when I was at London this year, february. This was my first visit and I fell in love with the city. That was the point when I decided after graduation I'm going to come back here and find a job.
This particular picture means a lot to me. The old building that has the text on its side and the street sign all of them has special meanings. I won't go into details, just believe me ;) As about today. I met with a friend who works here for an architect firm. She said tips how should I edit my cv and how should I persent myself. She said London needs architects so I'm going to get a job soon. So I don't feel that down anymore. And VZ is the kindest person on earth! Seriously. He is awesome. I would like to dedicate this picture to HIM! Thank you.

Another awesome piece of work
Susan Voros: Thank you Suby! I love this picture. i just had to put up
You got me all blushing, darling. The courage is all yours. It is you, who came to England to find your own way in life. It is you, who tries new things. And though we never know what will work and what will not, but, if you don't try, nothing will ever happen. As an old Russian saying goes: "No water will ever flow under a lying rock". You're doing the right thing, sweetie, and that takes courage. Good luck to you.
Susan Voros: Please do not blush. This picture was in my picture queue even before I know what will happen today. I call it fate somebody call only coincidence. I take all of it siriously. I've heard that old russian proberb and that's why I decided to move. To try to see what I am capable of. Without my parents help, without friends but only my skills. I'm quite positive after yesterday. That girl gave me good tips. And I know I can do it and I'm worth it.
I am amazed how in a short period of time, Susan (LESS THAN A WEEK), you have had contacts, an interview, and a group of people rooting for you.
I told you that your life is a Dance, and that you are only required to do your part. Life is also a game, and there are many of us in the grandstands, hootin' and hollerin' for you! So glad you found VZ, who just happens to be living in Atlanta these days. When I join him tomorrow, you'll really feel a lot of energy from there!
Susan Voros: Thank you Ginnie! I do the dance indeed. I started in little steps but getting more confident by the time and making bigger steps to the rythm.
It feels good to know I'm not alone. At least in soul
A great shot Susan. I love the fact that it has such an emotional meaning for you. That's what brings to photo to life. From what I've learned about you I can tell you are a woman of great courage with a zest for life.
Susan Voros: Thank you very much! I'm such an emotional freak sometimes, lol. But I guess this makes me who I am. I'm happy you like this picture. t's one of my favs from London.
Love the angle and the composition! Keep up the excellent work!
Susan Voros: Thank you Mr. Skee
Great pp. I am glad you seem to be finding your feet.
Susan Voros: Thank you very much! I'm trying hard
hey you!!
SO glad you kept your word and started shutter chancing. you are good! Love the photos - you are obviously a pro. Moi Moi
Susan Voros: Thank you Moi Moi!!!!
I'm definitely not a pro just somebody who likes composition and to show off, lol Anyway I'm glad you like my pictures.
Wow this is an amazing photo.
My first thought was that it is a bit dark and depressing. But than I had a closer look and this whole area looks like it is old, dirty, maybe some industrial area and so this dark atmosphere just fits! Very great photo!
Susan Voros: Thank you! Basicly the photo is much lighter, but actually I think a little bit darker attitude fits to the picture, that's why I made look like this. I had a certain feeling with it and I wanted to emphasize it.
wow soo pretty!
awesome pic, your a true artist
Susan Voros: Thank you Rob!
This is a great photo - apart from the fine old pub the use of text courtesy of the Road Name and Courage advert is very well done. Good luck with life in London.
Susan Voros: Thank you very much! REally. I really like how it turned out with the street sign... It gave a really cool frame to it
I like the shot. The processing contrasts with the message. I hope this isn't a comment on your SC experience, but in any event, let me extend you a belated welcome.
Susan Voros: Not at all! ITs just a general shot I deeply love. And thanks for the warm welcome. Everybody seems so nice and welcoming
I'm happy I can be here!
I love this picture, how it looks kind of old, just like the building. The angle and the composition are great. I really like the sign in the forefront.
Beautiful work.
Susan Voros: Thank you very much! I'm proud of the composition too
Nice Shot!
Susan Voros: Thank you
Interesting image, the contrast between the modern street sign and the old advertising sign, i assume it os for Courage ales but could be wrong, works well.
The presentation overall looks good as well.
Susan Voros: To be honest I really don't know how that text got on that wall.. I mean the advertisement, but I really loved it. It makes so much sense and actually gives you mroe than a simple ad. If you just try to look behind it. Usually I do so that's why I like this shot
wow this picture is amazing. you have an excellent eye for detail and perspective. I love it!
Susan Voros: Thank you dear! I'm happy you like my captured moments
*hugs*
I like how your shot takes a very simple scene and brings out the beauty in it. Nicely done!
Susan Voros: Thank you very much for your comment!
hey...Susan, this is awesome.ive been living in london for ages..and i could walk past this place a thousand times and still not realise how beautiful the place is...seriously..i think youre a gem...wow...i only just met you but im already loving your creative skillz..go girl..at least ..i can tell ppl i knew you b4 u became famous.
Susan Voros: HEy Eddie?! Is that you?! Omg, how did you find my blog? lol
Well honestly, thank you very much. I believe you have to have a certain eye to catch thing... I usually walk as a hawk to see things that are hidden. Those things can make me smile and fill with joy of the beauty. I live for that. |
