Freedome Bridge
This is again from my old paperphoto collection. Freedome Bridge in Budapest. I was walking home from the university one day and had to stop to take a picture.
Kinda postcard like, but I like it. Reminds me something pure and clean. Scanned pictures, sorry for the quality.

Beautiful angle to this shot. Be proud.
Susan Voros: I am
The quality is fine Susan as it gives the image a dated feel to it which makes you right about the post card bit. Before I forget, good luck on the job front and I wish we had a chance to chat on Saturday but I ran out of time. Welcome
J
Susan Voros: Thank you. I believe scanned black and white pictures have a really cool effects. Like this would be really old, and somehow it makes it ageless.
I was sad that we hadn't got a chance to chat but I'm sure next time I won't miss the opportunity
Hey, don't be afraid to post your old scanned works. Everyone here in Shutter can appreciate a good composition, fine color palette and so on. Regarding blemishes, they can be easily removed in Photoshop.
Keep us posted with your search of work. If only you were here in Atlanta. There is plenty of work here. My firm is in a hiring mode now. I'll also check with my colleagues, and send you a private email, if I have any leads. Cheers, Z
Susan Voros: Hi! I wont be afraid to post any of my work here. Not all of the super but I will try to work them with Photoshop so they will get at least presentable, lol.
I got an interview today which is a good thing. I hope they will call me back and give me at least a trial period. Not so many firms working with ArchiCad here and even I know AutoCad too I'm more confident with ArchiCad. That can be the main problem and because I'm a greenie. Oh well, check out my portfolio site. I'm always open to anything. Susan
More, more. I want to see more of your city and country, Susan, so thanks for scanning!
I'm really crossing my fingers and heart for you.
Susan Voros: I will show you more, dear Ginnie just be patient, lol. If I'd post all my thing at once where would the fun go?
Thanks for your good throughts. I'm definitely feeling them.
What a beautiful bridge.
Susan Voros: Thanks
I have visited Hungary in May and have blogged many pictures from that visit already. I believe that Hungary is heaven for photographers, and also it is a great country - I only had positive experiences there.
One of my Budapest bridge pictures http://www.louis.shutterchance.com/photoblog/The_Reading_Room_/ Great picture - many Shutterchancers, like Huibri, only blog scanned pictures.
Susan Voros: WOW, so good to hear that actually somebody got positive experience. I love my country and seriously every photographer's dream subject but sometimes I want to stand and guard every foreign people not to get hurt, lol.
I'm happy you had a great time. I lived near to the Danube.
It is certain, seems an image removed from the drawer of the old photographies. I like!
Susan Voros: Certanly it's something like that
Nice composition Susan
Susan Voros: Thank you very much
You'll be surprised how many people use Photoshop just for the opposite, to create a scratchy, dusty, old-looking photograph. Just look at the last Alistair's image of a daisy

Susan Voros: wow, interesting.
Actually I try to clean up the photo not to have that washed-out look. I have other pictures scanned, will share them later as well.
Hi Susan, this is a great shot. Please keep posting.
Susan Voros: Thank you vetry much
Hi Susan, Awesome shot!
Susan Voros: Hi Helen! Thank you
i feel like this is a picture straight out of one of my table books that i have. The quality of the photo makes it feel old and antique and i love it!
Susan Voros: Thank you very much! I always feel the same when I see this picture. You quite knew what to say
your pictures make wonder...
"so what actually differentiates an amateur from a pro?"
Susan Voros: I believe pros has a better quality of picture using. their camera is good, but that doesn't mean their compositions are better as well. Sometimes theirs just works better. But because of my profession, I believe I have the eye too, but the quality is the one I don't think it's good.
